Leslie Nevison and her husband began their journey abroad in 1990, living in 12 diverse countries, including Turkey, Oman, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Greece, India, Tanzania, Gabon, Benin, the Republic of Congo, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Since 2005, Leslie has been the Director of Mama Tembo Tours Zambia LTD (trading as MTT Safaris), a safari and travel company based in Lusaka, Zambia. The company also operates Mama Tembo Cheza, a welcoming four-star guesthouse in Lusaka.

In MTT Safaris' early years, Leslie personally led small group tours to her favourite African destinations. Starting in 2023, she has embraced this passion once again, curating and guiding small group journeys to extraordinary locations both within and beyond Africa. These nature-focused safaris are perfect for travellers who value the camaraderie and reassurance of thoughtful, small-group experiences.
